When seeking membership as an undergraduate student, a candidate must have:
No less than the equivalent of at least 36 semester hours earned by the end of the term prior to the time of initiation.
A 3.5 quality point average for initiation and maintenance of a 3.0 quality point average for active membership. Members falling below this average will be asked to appear before the Chapter Executive Committee.
At least six (6) semester hours (or the equivalent) of Professional Education courses programmed, in progress, or completed.
Taken or currently be enrolled in a minimum of four education classes for non secondary education majors. Secondary education majors must have taken or currently be enrolled in a minimum of two education classes.
