KDP Points System
Points are earned when members are actively involved with Kappa Delta Pi.
There is no minimum number of points needed to become a member or remain a member.
Once a member has reached their point threshold, he/she is eligible to receive an honor cord to be worn at graduation.
Eligibility also requires attending one meeting per semester and remain a member through Nationals. The honor cords are presented at induction ceremonies.
Point Thresholds for Honor Cord Eligibility
--Members Inducted Prior to Spring 2023--
--Members Inducted Spring 2022- Present--
Members must meet point requirements and complete the required events in each category
Sophomore - 25 points
Junior - 20 points
Senior - 12 points
AND
Two Meetings Per Semester, Two KDP Sponsored Events (PD, Panels, Etc.), Two KDP Fundraisers, One Community Outreach Event (Literacy Alive, COT, Service events), and One Donation.

Join or chair a committee!
Complete Global Student Teaching!
Study Abroad!
