In addition to working closely with partner organizations and co-sponsoring events with campus clubs, the Gamma Zeta chapter has wide-spread name recognition through publicity.
The Gamma Zeta Chapter was established in 1931. Dr. Conte became our Faculty Counselor in 2000, and since then, the Gamma Zeta chapter has won The Ace Award nine times! The honorable biannual award was received in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2023.
The chapter has been presented with 3 National Awards this year at the 2023 Convocation in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Gamma Zeta chapter received the ACE (Achieving Chapter Excellence) award for the 11th time.
The College of New Jersey's chapter was the only chapter to receive the fundraising award.
We have also been awarded for our work in Literacy Alive! which was completed by our 2022-2023 Vice President, Alyssa Schroeck.
In 2019, the Gamma Zeta chapter was one of nine recipients of the Professional Development Chapter Program Award in 2014 for the Conference for Aspiring Teachers.
In 2013, the Gamma Zeta chapter was recognized at the gold level and was selected as a recipient of the Literacy Alive! Project Achievement Award.
This chapter has also been awarded the prestigious Ace Of The Ace Award in 2005.
